Dog Care
7.00 am Take both dogs on your arms outside in the outdoor enclosure.
Give them half a cup of dog food. Don’t overfeed! Left overs attract cockroaches.
After 15 min after eating:
Clean the dog toilets with the water hose and wash off everything in the dog enclosure with dish wash
Check after 30 min again and clean up poo or urine.
Keep an eye on them at daytime.
Conduct and animal welfare and water check at 1.00 pm, 7.30 pm and before you are sleeping.
Before you are sleeping:
Put the dogs inside in the crates for the night.
7.00 am
- Disinfect your hands
- Clean all areas with the water hose or if the puppies are small baby wipes with 2 drops of hand sanitizer added on the wipes.
- Clean all bowls
- Fill up half a cup of puppy food in the small metal bowl. Make sure that you don’t overfeed. Left overs attract cockroaches.
- Fill up the water.
- Clean the toilet and wash the floor as necessary.
Repeat at 1.00 pm and 7.30 pm
Check every 3 hours for any feces and urine.
Do an animal welfare check and clean the dog toilets before you go to sleep.
When you go to sleep: put the mum and puppies in the crate (with a new towel)
Rabbit Care
7 am – Morning Routine
- Feed a rabbit pellets every morning, add it in the bowl.
- Wash both water bowls
- Give fresh water.
- If the cage is dirty (after approximately 4-5 days) put the rabbits in the temporary cage while you wash the main cage behind the house. Add oaten chaff in the washed cage ( which is in the big black bin in the outdoor rabbit area).
7.pm Evening Routine
- Animal Welfare check
- Clean the water bowls
- Check if the food is still fine
