When we hosts short term caretakers (guests who help us), it’s crucial to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Here are some guidelines to follow:

Welcome and Orientation:
Greet them warmly upon arrival and provide them with a brief orientation about our facilities.
Introduce them just to the following animals: geese, ducks, donkeys, chicken and explain any safety guidelines or rules they need to follow.

Accommodation:
Ensure that the areas/bathrooms are clean and equipped with toilet paper, hand wash, handsantiser for guests.

Explain how to use any shared facilities, such as kitchens or bathrooms, and encourage guests to keep them tidy. Tell them that they can bring the rubbish to you and put it save away from the animals to be disposed the next day to the rubbish dump.

Safety:
Emphasize safety protocols, such as staying away from animal enclosures without supervision and respecting the guidelines which are on the website and warnings.
Provide emergency contact information and explain evacuation procedures in case of emergencies.

Respect for Animals:
Educate visitors about the importance of respecting the animals’ space and well-being.
Discourage feeding animals unless supervised by long term caretakers and provide guidance on appropriate interactions.

Noise and Quiet Hours:
Set quiet hours to ensure that short term caretakers and animals can rest undisturbed (10 pm-10 am)
Encourage them to be mindful of noise levels, especially during evening hours.

Waste Management:
Provide clear instructions for waste disposal.
Encourage short term caretakers to clean up after themselves and leave the premises as they found it.

Activities and Experiences:
Offer opportunities for guests to engage with the animals through supervised activities such as feeding usually done in the sunset feeding experience.
Provide information about nearby attractions and other activities short term caretakers can enjoy during their stay.

Feedback and Communication:
Encourage them to provide feedback about their experience and address any concerns or issues promptly.
Maintain open and transparent communication with short term caretakers throughout their stay to ensure their needs are met. If they are unhappy for a reason such as noisy animals they can get a complimentary experience for free.

By following these guidelines, we can create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for visitors while promoting responsible and respectful interactions with the animals and the environment.
