⚠️ Cane toad poisoning in dogs is a medical emergency – act immediately
🆘 FIRST AID – DO THIS NOW
🧼 Use a wet cloth or towel
➡️ Wipe gums, tongue, and roof of mouth
🔁 Rinse the cloth often
➡️ Continue for 10–15 minutes
⬇️ Keep the dog’s head pointing down
➡️ So water drains out of the mouth (not into throat)
🚫 Do NOT use a hose in the mouth
🧘 Keep the dog calm and quiet
⚠️ SYMPTOMS OF CANE TOAD POISONING IN DOGS
➡️ Excessive drooling or foaming
➡️ Bright red gums
➡️ Shaking or disorientation
➡️ Seizures
🏥 SEEK VETERINARY HELP IMMEDIATELY
➡️ Even if symptoms improve
➡️ Go urgently if:
• Seizures
• Collapse
• Dog bit or swallowed the toad
