    • Provide companionship and attention to keep pets happy and stress-free.
    • Water and tend to plants as instructed by the property owner.
    • Ensure plants are healthy and report any issues.
    • Keep the property clean and tidy.
    • Perform basic upkeep tasks such as taking out the trash, cleaning common areas, and maintaining outdoor spaces.
    • Secure the property and belongings, ensuring all doors and windows are locked when leaving.
    • Wash and replace bedding with fresh linens.
    • Clean the living area and leave it in good condition for the next occupant.
    • Coordinate with the property owner to return any keys and settle any final details.
    • Maintain regular communication with the property owner to provide updates and address any questions or concerns.
    • Be responsive and available in case of emergencies or urgent matters.
      • Respect the property and privacy of the owner.
      • Adhere to the agreed-upon schedule and responsibilities.
      • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude throughout your stay.

The daily care of our animals is paramount, and we rely on the dedication of caretakers and petsitters to ensure their well-being. If you’re considering exploring the area during your stay, please coordinate with fellow volunteers to ensure that animal care duties are adequately covered.

There must always be someone on standby to monitor the animals. Make sure to communicate with the owners what their requirements are!

    • Provide guidance, training, and support to guests to ensure they understand their responsibilities and carry them out effectively.
    • Foster a positive and inclusive environment, encouraging communication, and mutual respect.

  4. Communication and Reporting:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, visitors, and tradies, addressing inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
    • Maintain regular communication with the property owner, providing updates on operational activities, animal care needs, and any issues or challenges encountered.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required, documenting key metrics, observations, and incidents related to property management, animal care.

  5. Emergency Response:

    • Be prepared to respond to emergencies or unforeseen events, including animal escapes, medical emergencies, or natural disasters.
    • Implement emergency protocols and evacuation procedures to ensure the safety of animals, guests and visitors.
    • Coordinate with local authorities, veterinary services, or other relevant organizations as needed during emergencies.
