Donate via PayID

PayID: info@actandcare.org.au
Please include “Animal Food Donation” in your payment reference.

Accepted Items

    • We welcome donations of commercially produced animal feed suitable for various species, including dogs, rabbits, parrots, and other small animals.
    • Dry food such as kibble, pellets, and seeds are preferred, as they have a longer shelf life and are easier to store.

Nutritional Requirements

    • Please ensure that donated food meets the nutritional needs of the specific animals it is intended for. We prioritize high-quality, balanced diets to support their health and well-being.

Fresh Produce

      • While fresh fruits and vegetables are appreciated, please consult with us beforehand to ensure that donated produce is safe and suitable for our animals.

Expiry Dates

    • Check the expiry dates of donated items to ensure they are within the acceptable range. Expired or spoiled food cannot be used and may pose health risks to the animals.

Packaging

    • Donated food should be in sealed, unopened packaging to maintain freshness and hygiene standards.
    • For loose items or bulk donations, please ensure they are securely packaged and clearly labeled with the contents and expiry dates.

Allergies and Dietary Restrictions:

    • Inform us of any known allergies or dietary restrictions our animals may have to prevent adverse reactions to donated food.

Drop-off Locations

    • Donations can be dropped off at our facility during designated hours. Please contact us in advance to schedule a drop-off time and ensure someone is available to receive your donation.

Monetary Donations

    • If you prefer to make a monetary donation to support our food procurement efforts, financial contributions are also greatly appreciated. You can donate through our website or contact us directly for more information.
