Our Approach
Manual Removal
We rely on hands-on, chemical-free methods to remove invasive weeds before they reseed.
Though labor-intensive, this approach is highly effective and preserves the natural structure and health of the soil.
Mulching & Ground Cover
Once weeds are cleared, we apply straw, old donkey hay, wood chips, or grass clippings from the property.
These natural materials suppress weed regrowth, enrich the soil with organic matter, and help retain moisture for surrounding plants.
Grazing Management
Our donkeys and goats play an active role in weed control.
Through strategic grazing, they target unwanted vegetation while protecting native plants and reducing overgrowth.
This cooperative method keeps the landscape balanced and beneficial for both animals and plants.

In areas requiring precision, we use whipper snippers to trim overgrown weeds and grasses — particularly around fences, paths, and hard-to-reach spaces.
Used responsibly, this method maintains a neat property without disturbing wildlife or soil health.
Crop Rotation & Companion Planting
In our garden plots, rotating crops and pairing compatible plants helps naturally suppress weeds, improve soil fertility, and encourage biodiversity.
